Story by:  Léon DeGrelle

As all HP fans know, the HP saga has come to a close, earlier this year.  After 10 long years of bringing us fun and an escape of the real world, each time, for 2.5 hours more or less, with every enchanting movie the WB produces.  At first, I didn't understand the hype, nor cared for it either, the news were heavily focused in the first installment of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" I just didn't care at the time.  So, after seeing most every movie that was in theaters at the time, more than once, I figured.....why not??  What do I have to lose?

From the first 15 minutes into the movie, I was an immediate fan.  The CGI had advanced so much, that the effects, were just wonderful.  The characters, were memorable and each unique.  And I loved it.  Now, the problem that arose form the movies, were the book purists....but that's almost every movie that's based off a book, there's always going to be different ideas to interpret the book.  And each change, had to go through approval of higher ups, including JK Rowling herself, and trust me, her word is basically law of what goes or doesn't......such as the casting of Americans to be Harry Potter, or any other of the characters for that matter, a perfect example: Madame Hooch (Zoe Wannamaker), though her character made future appearances in later books, she only had a minor 2 minute appearance in the first installment, never to be seen again.  Dobby as well, is a change.  He's been MIA since 2002's Chamber of Secrets, despite being in the future book installments as well.
And now, here we are in good old 2010.  9 years after the first installment, still a few weeks away from the second to last installment of Deathly Hallows pt. 1 on November 19, we await anxiously.  At least, hopefully, this time, the movie will com in on time, and not pushed back 8 months like Half Blood Prince was last year, actually, HBP, would have come out almost 2 years ago from these dates.  But, it only made the last installment all the better, because it was something that we all were waiting for after Order of the Phoenix.
As we all know, there were alot of tears shed after the last scenes of DH pt2 finally wrapped up in April of this year, I mean, who wouldn't?  Especially from the main 3 stars, who are each, in their early 20's now, and were as young as 10, when they first began filming back in 2000.  But the sadness that the end of the most successful franchise in movie history is short lived, as each of the main stars, are worth millions now, and can retire from their earnings as we speak.  But it's understandable, that working on a series for a decade, you make friends, and meet people that you will not see as often or will never see again.  But at least, the entire cast, has been part of something special and magical for us, the audience and the fans of the series.  Best of luck to everyone.
