As in the Expendables didn't have star power already

Source

We already heard that Jean Claude Van Damme will be making his return to the big screen, after being absent throughout the 2000's, with the Expendables sequel.......I know found out that Chuck Norris and John Travolta will be appearing in this film.  We have now, the best action stars from the 80's, 90's and now the 70's.  I'm not talking about Travolta, who is good in his own right, but the legendary Chuck Norris, the man that was kicking ass with various films from the 70's, on.  Chuck is already in his 70's, but still looks great for his age, and even decades younger.  I believe the sequel will surpass the surprise hit of the first one.  Let's see how it goes.

Potter Breaks 1 million mark in 14 days

The final installment of Harry Potter, finally has broken the 1 million dollar mark, and the only one of the series to doing so in 14 days of release.  The one that was the highest grossing one, was the first one "Sorcerer's Stone" from 2001.  But also take into consideration the ticket prices from 10 years ago......obviously 3D/IMAX theaters weren't even around, nor were the inflated prices of today's tickets, which range between $10-$12, not including the additional 5-6 dollars for the 3D/IMAX options.  It may have broken many records in its scale to success, but already lost a lost of steam since the opening day, due to other competition such as Captain America and Cowboys and Aliens, to name a few.

Will I consider that the end of HP went with a giant bang.........NO!  Far from it if you ask me, but it was still better than most endings from other movies.  The movie barely was over 2 hours, the main bulk of the movie was already done in Death Hallows 1.  But Deathly Hallows 2 did end with a 25 minute, or so, assault of Hogwarts, by Voldemort and crew.  The climactic end between good and evil, ended the same way as in Goblet of Fire, with a wand fight, in which Harry, ended up winning, and Voldi, going up in ashes.  In the past, I felt that Goblet of Fire was really cut short from what should have been and felt rushed, DH2 takes that feeling and places it on itself.  This movie, though good, I still rate at 7.5.  Had they left the rumored cut scenes, especially the memory scenes from Snape's past, this would have been made into a better movie.  Had they made the fights between Voldi/HP and Bellatrix/Molly fights longer, it would have made a difference.  The death scenes of some memorable characters were either cut short, or not seen at all.  Frankly, an additional 15 minutes would have sufficed enough to feed the curiosities of Potter fans, leaving them satisfied well knowing that the end of an era, has gone up with fireworks galore, instead of the feeling that, it was well enough, but could be better.

In all, good movie, fast pace, and a good job.  Snape finally is seen in the good light for the first time in 10 years, and has many IMDb.com poster, posting, Alan Rickman for an Oscar nod.......he, was in fact, the best actor in this series.  Daniel, played an awesome HP. Rupert's faces, funny as heck for some comedic relief.  Emma, acting did get better, and moreso without the weird eyebrow thingy she was doing around Goblet of Fire.  Maggie Smith, can't complain at all.  Brendan Gleeson, wonderful supporting character as ever.  Michael Gambon, missed, but will never be forgotten as Dumbledore.

Where the fuck is the rapture???

Ok...enough with the monkey business here.  But I will elaborate on a little secret, that is known, to those that are bible reader, and firm believers of God.  This goes to all monotheists out there.  The end of days and times, is only known to one being, and that is God, Allah, or YHWH.  No one else......not even his begotten son/prophet, Jesus (Yeshua).  What arrogance, for any asshole, false prophet bastard, to claim, that they know more than Jesus, or try to make themselves as an equal to Elohim, that is arrogance.  Now, with the May 21, 2011 prediction by some dried up bastard Harold Camping, has come and gone.....what now?  You lost face, and lost any credibility you had.  I knew first hand, that nothing would happen, and why.......I have no faith in any man walking this planet to make any religious claims that they're a god, a prophet, or even a reincarnation of Jesus.  No man, will even come to being the size of a molecule to any of God's prophets, chosen people, much less God himself.

Jesus said it best, that there will be plenty of false prophets after him, only to misguide and to take people to perdition and lose their souls for an idiot that talks fancy.  I have no faith in fools like Camping, or some Brazilian shitbag that claims to be Jesus, or some asshole that claims there are golden tablets and that he could read them, or even a schizoid sci fi writer that claims he's a god.

What I think on the bin Laden bit.........

What I think, it's a damn piss poor failed attempt, at a re-election bid, if you ask me.  Last week, the POTUS, finally showed off some cheap ass, lame excuse of a Birth Certificate, that coincidentally, the doctor died years ago, so no live witness.  now, with the whole Osama bin Laden thing..........I believe bin Laden has been dead for over 5 years, still under that goofball, Dubya's, watch.  And now, after 10 or so years, this so called 'messiah' comes, and fixes all, and we're expected to eat that shit up.  I don't think so.  Having served in the US Army for nearly a decade, and learned other skills besides my primary MOS, I don't buy anything the damn media has to say.  Frankly, I served in a unit that are the propaganda for the military, so I can see through bullshit in seconds, and not be a god damned blind follower of any concocted story that this administration has done.  And where's the proof?  Oh, the autopsy was done, and all off a sudden, a hasty burial at sea, and no pics shown...............come on man!!!  As the saying goes in the internet lingo:  PICS or GTFO!  I don't buy into the story and fairy tales.  This is reality, not some kiddy story.  We're all grown adults, and not some damn, special ed. children that we believe into this. Having served, under my belt, I will clearly say, "the stories are false, there's no actual proof, the media is bought off, and where the fuck are the pics?"

Funny how Saddam Hussein's execution and his capture were all over the news and covered.  Or how the unrest in the Middle East is covered.  How Muammar Kadaffi's son's pic was posted all over the news.  Or how innocent people are executed if demands aren't met with terrorists.......yet, no pics, or any real coverage of the world's most wanted piece of shit's demise.  Please, Obama, you have to try harder, your people are letting you down severely.  And even the details of the events, and inside the supposed area, can be imitated by hiring SFX experts, like Lucio Fulci, Tom Savini, and the Raimi bros.  And Photoshop?  Any amateur can imitate those pics.

To reiterate......No Pics....no proof.  Pics or GTFO.

Bin Laden's dead.....but not under Obama's watch

Obama's been dead for over 5 years, probably closer to 10 years is you ask me.  Barrack Obama, is trying to make himself out the hero, when he has done nothing to show forth.  Despite my time in service, I don't hold any kind of loyalty to hum or his family, I figure I'm old enough and grown up enough, to make decisions for myself, and not have to follow the sheeple into even so much, as respecting him.  Personally, I don't care for him, or the idiot before him.  I do believe, that Bin Laden was killed during Bush's regime in the early 2000's.  With this, "bin Laden's dead" bullshit, Obama's vying for another run in 2012, now that he supposedly showed his birth certificate to prove that he's a legally born US citizen.  I don't buy that either.  And the doctor, that supposedly was the physician that help bring him to the world, is conveniently dead.  Things, that make you wonder if you ask me.  Ever since Obama came to power, I've seen my tax returns dwindle, to the point of me owing the government money, as opposed to getting money back.  Obama, will not be president a second term, and has been more of a failure, than a success.
Who ever will be running against him, may get my vote, if not, I'd vote for Godzilla.  Since the new way of doing things, is voting foreigners into office, and Godzilla, being a foreign national (Japanese), he has a great shot of being our next president in the 2012 elections.

Demi Lovato seemingly, quits Sonny With a Chance

Despite Disney rumors, that the show would go on without Demi, apparently are true.  Sonny, Demi's namesake of the show, will be renamed to "So Random"", just like the show within the show.  Despite Demi saying and claiming that she decided to focus more into her music, and her recovery, this is just another PR method of saying "You're Fired!", since Demi's nervous breakdown caused her to lose reputation with the Disney higher ups.  I still pray for the best with Demi, and of course, this young lady can sing.  Of the Disney Princesses, she holds the best set of pipes of the 3, between Miley, and Selena Gomez.  She's a very attractive young lady, and can act as well.  She's not just another pretty face, She's Demi Devonne Lovato.  With her coming out truthfully, we should give her props for doing so, and showing that anyone, can have problems.

The AJC bitching about Miral, as one sided

The cause for my rant

Wow.....just wow on how all of a sudden, one little viewpoint, and the propaganda machine is already waging war, as reported in YAHOO.  They want to talk about what one sided is?  What about Germany after WW1 and WW2.  That's always been one sided.  Or what of the founding of the US?  Did the settle come in peace with the Native Americans, or did they come in with a political agenda, and nearly wiped out a proud people in genocide?  What of the Aztecs and Hernán Cortés?  Or Francisco Pizarro and the Incas?  Some of these individuals, have no idea of how one sided, many of these fabricated stories really are, and the "Crocodile Tears" that's shed for a sad events in WW2, and embellishing it and even, "stretching the truth" about it.

From Léon Degrelle's book: Epic-The Story of the Waffen SS
The conscientious Jewish author Lazare wrote a very interesting book on Anti-Semitism, where he asked himself: "We Jews should ask ourselves a question: why are we always hated everywhere? It is not because of our persecutors, all of different times and places. It is because there is something within us that is very unlikeable." What is unlikeable is that the Jews have always wanted to live as a privileged class divinely-chosen and beyond scrutiny. This attitude has made them unlikeable everywhere.
You want more one sided stories?  What of the Spanish Jews (sephardi) during WW2?  you never hear of them.  And why?  Francisco Franco, took hold of Spain after the Spanish Civil War between 1939-1975, a full, totalitarian government in those times.  Why is it then, that Ashkenazi Jews, don't even mention them as part of the genocide that Hitler did?  You want one sided?  Why is it that the towns of Dresden and Mannheim, who lost over 15K people-civilians mind you-in each of the towns, within 20 minutes of Allied bombings and assaults, and yet, this isn't mentioned in history books, nor considered genocide?  Think about it.

You want more:
Look up them names of:
Léon Degrelle
David Irving
Pat Buchanan
David Duke
Norman Finklestein (Yes, he's Jewish)

I'm no expert, just relaying names with this little blog.  Before getting any possible negative feedback....I'm of Spanish Jew/Amerindian/Galician/Mexican ancestry, meaning, I'm no Anti-Semite, just pro-truth.  I'm only against those that wield the power to spew venomous lies and deceit.  Not against any group as a whole.  Thank you.

The legendary Elizabeth Taylor, has passed away

The Unforgeable Elizabeth Taylor, has died earlier today, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, form congestive heart failure.  She'd been hospitalized for the past 3 weeks.  Her friends and loved ones were at her side before passing.  She was 79.

For younger people, she is remembered as the lady that almost gave away the 2001 Academy Awards winner, before the nominees were even mentioned, and poked fun of with that single phrase........"Glaaaaaaa-Diiii-Aaaaaator".  For others, she's remember as Wacko Jacko's (Michael Jackson) best friend and confidant.  But for movie goers and fans, she will be best remembered, as one of the most beautiful faces and actresses, to ever grace the Silver Screen.  A true icon and legend.  She will be missed.  And for those that remember her, as Pricilla, from "Lassie Come Home".....woah, we're talking people whose birth certificates are written on clay tablets, found next to the Rosetta Stone.....just kidding.

There will be another trip to "Narnia" afterall..........

Source

Seems that 20th Century-Fox is pleased with the profits from Voyage of the Dawn Treader.  While the US box office total, was a dismal $107+ million, and far lower than the previous 2 films from the series, the overseas box office totals are what made the difference in this.  They have reached the $300 million dollar mark, thus bringing the total to over $407 million.  Meaning, there is a sequel that's about to happen.  And yes, I'm excited about the news.
But the next movie, is not "The Silver Chair", but "The Magician's Nephew", which for those that are non literary geniuses, is the beginning and birth of Narnia.

The movie big wigs, decided to jump over 2 books, which are: The Silver Chair and A Boy and His Horse, in order to possibly, get people to renovate and renew their interests in the Narnia series.  I see the strategy in this, and quite well.  Since the latter books, are probably too complex, and uninteresting for children, why not recapture the magic from the first movie from 2005.  And straight into the fantasy world, that captivated audiences the first time around.  The book that the future Narnia movie is based from, marks the birth of Narnia, as a from of Genesis of how everything and all began.  The main character in this, besides, the now infamous lion, Aslan, is a young Professor Kirke.  And as fans remember, the old professor from the first movie, played by Jim Broadbent.  And as fans recall, he did believe Lucy Pevensie in her trip to Narnia, and notice, how his face lit up and eyes widened at the mention of the magical place.  And another one for Tilda Swinton fans, yes, Jadis The White Witch does appear in this.  The last two times from Prince Caspian and Dawn Treader, were a surprise.

I had a good feeling about Dawn Treader, but this news about another one, really surprised me.  Expect new fans on the bandwagon, and the return of those, that lost faith in the series.  As of now.....this is in the talks and nothing is set in stone.  Expect news of this movie, later in the year.

Another Movie classic: European Vacation

Follow the misadventures of Clark Griswold and family in this, somewhat forgotten gem, from 1985.  I had completely forgotten, on how often the premium channels like Showtime, Cinemax, and HBO, would often show this movies, among the others, that are rarities, 20+ years after they were made.  Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo star. Follow the misadventures of the Griswold family, as they literally destroy England, France, Germany and Italy with mishaps and stupidity.
Seeing the movie again, after more than a decade, I learned to appreciate, the simpler, wilder, and yet, better times from the 80's.  You'll see some old companies, old logos from still famous name brands and some that are no longer with us.  Listen to old music from an almost bygone era.  And enjoying a much better time, when movies still had originality to them, not some cheap knockoff, trying to live up to the original.  *Sigh*, the 80's was the last pit stop, for good fun and movies.

Dune, is no more

This just in........the bad news, the "Dune" reboot/remake, has been killed before it had any steam to move forward an inch.  The two directors chosen, left the project to do other things, and it seems that the big wigs at Paramount, lost faith in Frank Herbert's Dune, since the 1984 David Lynch version, bombed at the box office, and the latest remake from SyFy in 2000 was closer to Herbert's book, was only a basic cable exclusive, but was one of the Sci-Fi/SyFy channels best rated original movies.  Despite the original bomb from 1984, it has been appreciated by a mass of cult following from fans worldwide since then.  I, include myself in this mass following of fans, having read the original 6 books, and the first 3 "House" books written by his son Brian and Kevin J. Anderson, based on Frank's original notes.  I've been to lazy to read the other books after 2003, but will get around to it.

This is only one of few series, that I can say, I am very knowledgeable about.  Having read bios, books, notes, and other people's ideas.  It's a travesty to think, that movie remakes, that have nothing to do with their predecessors, or movies with spoiled brats, get made, and not thinking something more grand and elaborate, besides the writings, and imagination, and possible Oscar nods here.  I understand, that this is such a difficult undertaking, but it seems, being shelved for the time being, is the best that could happen, since it does take a different mind, and a higher intelligence to undertake such a mental burden of artwork and expression.  Oh well.........there's always tomorrow.

The US is at it again.  As much as I love being in the US, and as much as I enjoy the freedoms-since I worked for them-I believe that the US and friends, are better off leaving other countries to their own destiny/demise.  I get sick and tired of hearing, that the US is cleaning another mess, and this time with Libya......again after 25 years.  I'm not saying that Ghadaffi is right or wrong, but he has kept a strong stable government for decades.....in fact, according to a former US Marine from the area, has actually done quite well, for the country, after the 1986 US-Libya war.  Also, that everytime there is any type of mobilization, gas prices, all of a sudden go up.  But what's curious, why do prices affect all of the US, instead of the rightful region.  For example, the Middle East and African gas all correspond to the Eastern half of the US, from the Mississippi to the Eastern coast, and all that should affect the West, is in Texas, Alaska, and the rest of the Americas, such as Venezuela.  This is the type of information that is not released to the public.  And why?  So people keep paying at the pump.

Now back to Libya.....who is the US?  Why are they policing the whole damn world?  If it were up to me, I'd leave it alone.  Because it has always ended biting them in the ass in the long run.  And I will give a few examples.
1:  Afghanistan- 1979-1988, the US started arming the Afghanis, with weapons to fight off the USSR, the Russians.  But by 1988, peace talks with the USSR ended up stopping the supply of weapons and medicine to Afghanistan, thus pissing off guys like a young Bin Laden, into hating the US for breaking its promise.  Those same weapons that were sent, are now being used against US troops.
2:  Iran-Iraq- In 1976, Saddam Hussein was a close friend and ally to the US.  by 1980, Hussein had attacked Iran, all using technology, such as biological warfare, all by the US.  By 1983, Iran was actually gaining ground, and Saddam got stronger weapons, such as VX gas, and eventually turned it against the Kurds.  By the late mid80's the US was selling weapons, to Iran
3:  Contras- The US again arming terrorists, in the guise of Democratic freedom fighters, in the mid 80's....thus the Iran-Contra affair came to play.
4:  Panama:  Manuel Noriega had close ties to the US, until 1989.  He was trained in Psychological Warfare, and as a possible political strong man, to oust then dictator, Arnulfo Arias.  He became, somewhat of a pain in the ass, when Noriega, himself, became involved in trafficking drug to both sides of the ocean (Atlantic and Pacific), since he controlled the Panama Canal.

As you see, I'm no political assassin nor any mastermind, but I like to reveal some truth to what's hidden, such as US involvements, in recent years, have given us, nothing but problems and grief......and when any person is no longer of any use, they throw them away like yesterdays garbage.  Look at Egypts recent ousting, of Hosni Mubarak, and the current disarray of Libya.  Sleeper cells, have been planted to cause a ruckus and destruction of countries from within.  The way to victory, now lies with rotting a country from the inside out.  Why all of a sudden, was US and friends, so quick to respond to Libya's unrest.  Seems that Ghadaffi is next on the list of people, that are to be thrown out.

Finally, the Hobbit begins filming today

After many delays, which include union problems, MGM jacking off, Peter Jackson getting ulcer surgery, and the loss of Guillermo del Toro, the movie prequel to Lord of the Rings, finally gets underway.  And to prove it, and confirmed from Jackson's own Facebook page, he's placed 2 pics on set.  Peter, looks wonderful, and revving up to finally get this movie underway.  I still place blame mainly on MGM's reluctance, of starting this movie, by mid last year.  And from there, the movie, had its serious downward spiral to oblivion, from a movie that "could have been".....and the problems that surged.....UNIONS bitching, as usual, the great Guillermo del Toro quitting, after working on the project for nearly 2 years, and PJ's unfortunate ulcer surgery in January.  But he kept at it....all the problems were resolved rather well, and now, 10 months after this project should have started, has gained momentum.

Here are the pics, from PJ's own FB page.  They were placed, only to prove to people, that the LOTR prequel, is gaining speed, and it will be done.:

My take on the possible end of "V"

At first, I was glad, that it originally was going to be a continuation of the original series 25 years before.  And this was not only according to IMDb.com, but the story I got directly from Marc Singer, during a brief chat with him, during the San Diego Comic Con 2007.  At first, I was excited, but then, when I saw the previews throughout mid 2009, I was a bit disappointed, when the whole series, was going to have a mass reboot and start from scratch, with a different, and younger cast.  November 2009, it was its debut month, and I quickly warmed up to it, and in fact, of the 22 episodes, I only missed one from this past season, that's how much I enjoyed this series.  The reboot, I call, a welcome change to an original premise of a story, despite myself, being a purist when it comes to originality.  But Who am I anyway??  I'm just a fan and spectator like everyone else.
Now, during season 2, we had an unexpected surprise, Jane Badler (Diana for the original series) came back as Diana, but not from the original storyline.  I loved it.  And just a few days ago, the end of season 2 just passed, and the latest surprise.....our old buddy, Marc Singer, came back for a brief, 10 minutes of screen time, but those little minutes, was like a huge presence and a welcomed long lost friend.

Now the skinny......personally, the pacing may have been slow in many parts, but made up for it, in a more complex story plot than its infamous predecessor.  It was more thought of, than the campy, get in there quick, shoot some V's and get out, or the major soap opera type battles among the V high command.  Sure, there are some plotholes, but what can someone expect in a short 38-40 minute show, heavily bombarded with commercials?  not much actually, but kudos to the writers, editors, and directors in this.  The sad part, in the season 2 finale, Diana is dead, and killed by her own daughter, just as Di, just came out of her exile and tried to take over once again as queen.
The other problem that I saw with the series, is the amount of episodes, and how far separated they are.  Season 1, had 4 initial episodes, with a remaining 8, shown 5 months later.  Then, season 2 was originally slated for November 2010, but no, it was pushed back to January 2011, and only 10 episodes.  Nielsen ratings are a murder, but it's only for people with the boxes that get the correct information, but it's only a small amount of people with that type of power to control what goes and what stays.  And since Sci-Fi, isn't exactly in everyone's agenda and likes, the show will likely cease to exist as a whole, and will get cancelled.

I hardly watch TV shows and series, and when I do, they lack the amount of fans and followers, to keep the show alive.  This is a pretty good show and very entertaining to say the least.....at least form my standpoint.  It would be a shame to see V, end up in the scrapile of oblivion.

The Godfather..........

The funny thing about The Godfather and its first sequel, is that they're films that were made a few years before I was born, that I truly like, and appreciate for all its glory.  This is what filmaking is all about, and not the lackluster movies, and remakes/reboots, of series, that were once great in it initial run.  Imagine the travesty, when Hollyweird, decides to make a Godfather reboot or remake???  Holy shit, there will be hell to pay when and if, that happens at all.  These are a few gems, that are to remain untouched, by anyone else, because no matter, if current actors that are of A list caliber, or Oscar winners/nominees......NO ONE!! and I repeat, no one, will ever show the high caliber acting of Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Robert DeNiro and the late John Cazale showed and proved on screen.  As good as some actors of today, such as Russell Crowe, Colin Firth, Tom Hanks-to name a few- are, they still will not capture the magic, as these 6 men shown in the series.

Granted........despite the negative outlook on Italians and Sicilians, this is the lifestyle chosen, by very few of them, and I mean few.  This is not the best presentation of a strong and wonderful people, but it shows the underworld, and the other side of a card, that is not seen, by many stranieri, or foreigners.  Despite the violence, and bad press against the Italians, it does have some lessons, to live by.  And here's a little list of lessons:
Family comes first
Learn to appreciate your parents
Always protect your family form harm
Never let an enemy know what your think
Keep vigilant
Learn to stretch the truth, but still be truthful
Don't let anger blind you
Friendship is good
Italian/Sicilian weddings, are really elaborate

And that's many fine points in life.

A Forgotten gem: The Dark Crystal

It has been nearly 30 years, that Jim Henson's vision and masterpiece hit the big screen, but noted as a commercial failure, due to a lack of interest of people, primarily due, to E.T.'s Popularity at the time, but also the lack of intellectual and visionary imagination of people.  But, all is not lost.  Those few followers of the movie, such as myself, and millions of others, have made The Dark Crystal, into a popular cult status.  The film itself, was the engineering masterpiece, of not only Jim Henson, but the combined works of Frank Oz, David O'Dell, and Brian Froud as a whole.  The thing about the movie.....there are no humans visible at all, and all is done using puppets, and skillful stunt performers and actors, behind a multitude of disguises, to bring this movie to life.  The creation of a new world for generations to enjoy.  This movie, took more than half a decade to film, and to finally put onto the screen.  This movie, brought out a brighter imagination for me, and has since, been one of my all time favorites, since 1982, when I first saw it in theaters as a small boy.

For the synopsis of The Dark Crystal, Click Here, as it is a long one, just to get an idea about this movie.  This was also among the first movies I bought, back in 2004, when I first started a DVD collection of my favorite films.

Michael Gough.....passes away at 94

It is with a heavy heart that I report, that Michael Gough, has passed away at 94.  Despite his many movie appearances since 1947, Mr. Gough was best known and remembered as "Alfred" from the 4 Batman films from 1989-1997.  He has also worked along side Tim Burton, Christopher Lee, Sir Laurence Olivier, and Vivien Leigh.  He will be missed.  Rest in Peace kind sir.

The Ides of March...........

Today......March 15, marks the day that one of the most famous conqueror's on Earth's history, Julius Caesar, was stabbed to death in 44 BC, on his way to the Theater of Pompey, by conspirator's.  Among the co conspirator's was Marcus Junius Brutus, his close friend.  And Julius, in his dying breath, coined the sentence "Et tu Brute"......And you too Brutus.  There were approximately, 60 conspirators in Julius Caesar's assassination plot, and in the frenzy of stabbings, even some of the assassins, stabbed each other.  The funny thing about Brutus' name......to this day, Italians use the word "Brutto" as Ugly, just for how ugly and bloody Caesar's assassination really was.

In Memoriam

The whole Mel Gibson divorce fiasco

To be blunt.....Oksana Grigorieva, has that mentality, like many foreigners do, that the US is the land of opportunity (or an opportunist, in her case) and the land of "milk and honey" (in her case, Mel is her meal ticket).  Mel, of course, is a rich, famous, and powerful Hollywood icon, and who else better for Oksana to leech of and suck him dry.....in this case, financially now.  Mel, is no saint either, especially when he gets drunk, but unfortunately, that drunken rage he gets, has also been a downfall of his career success as of late, but he can still wipe his ass with 100 dollar bills, without it affecting him.  He's been called an anti-Semite......funny, if he were, one of his biggest films was based off the most famous Jew, Yeshua bar David, or better known to everyone as Jesus of Nazareth, the Savior, our Lord, Abba.....or whatever you want to call him.  Despite it all, he showed his devotion to to Jesus, in "The Passion of the Christ".  And it proved to be, one of the most violent films of one man, on the receiving end of a beat down and torture that no normal person can endure.  But Mel, still is popular.

I see this Russian import, born from the Iron Curtain of the Soviet controlled fallen empire, as an evil opportunist, hell bent, into blackmailing one of the most revered movie actors of this time, for her own, self serving and egotistical agenda.  She makes herself to be the victim in all of this, but yet, Mel's former wife, says few or little against Mel.  But yet, this Soviet skank, decides to run the ball with all the abuse bullshit, that even I don't believe, nor any one of us.  So, if she wins, will she share this money with anyone, or donate some to charity?  Of course not, she couldn't give 2 shits, about you, me, or anyone, but herself.  All of this ranting, and exposure, only comes from the propaganda tactics that Comrade Leonid Brezhnev taught her in the Soviet Schools on how to bring down enemies, by any means, through negative propaganda, smear campaigns, blackmail, and empty threats.  She is a failed remnant of a fallen empire......a big bear that bared its ugly claws and fangs, but ultimately, is nothing more than hot air and fluff.  Her anti-Mel campaign and mission will be just like Communist Russia, an epic failure.  In all, who will be her next victim that will fall for her charms?  The next American sucker, or rich fool, to even be in a relationship, with this withering Black Rose of Death.  Looks, are only temporary, but being a BITCH, is for a lifetime.

V season 2 Finale (Spoilers)

As soon as it just started, it's all over.  Just how everything begins, it ends quick with different twists and possibilities, and the ever always present....."What if...." lingers in the air.  Overall the pacing was good, but within that one hour, it felt like it was well made, too bad for the inconveniences of the commercials in between.  To break it down quickly, Erica's plan of a fake kidnapping of Lisa, breaks down, when Lisa herself, gets cold feet in killing off her mother, Anna. Anna tricked Lisa into having emotions and preferring to live in peace, with the humans.  All a lie, when Anna saw that Lisa had pulled a gun on her behind her back through a broken mirror, and lies through her sharp fangs.  Diana gets killed off by Anna herself, when Anna and Lisa return from the botched kidnapping scheme.  Hobbes goes MIA, after the whole ordeal.  Ryan is killed by his own daughter, when he boards ship to try and rescue her.  Ryan goes down without a fight, when his own daughter, wrapped her tail around his neck, and kills him. The 5th Column is literally down and out, but not before the infamous return of Marc Singer, with an even more potent organization, hell bent on destroying the V's, but with money and resources, 5th Column had to scrounge to get.  Erica, gets recruited by her boss and partner from the FBI, as they were secretly in on the whole V deal, and kidnapped her to meet the whole new crew.  Chad gets found out, that he was the one talking on the kidnapping plot.  Lisa, is imprisoned in Diana's old chamber, but is not killed, but forced to watch, her newly hatched sister (Queen Egg) made to look like Lisa herself, and mate with Tyler......best part, he's killed off.............Finally!!!  And to boot, Ryans little daughter, has the ability to perform a Bliss Job, without it harming her.  The little girl, picked up for her "mother" when she saw that bliss was killing her.  The people of Earth, are now Blissed, and ready for the picking.

So basically, this plotline was a bit more intricate, and better thought of, than previous episodes of "V", despite that all the episodes were entertaining, to say the least.  But, I doubt that this series will get renewed by ABC, due to low ratings, according to them....but, the Nielsen ratings, boxes, aren't based on fact, nor 100% accuracy, but are boxes, given by a select people, and in those few people, are the deciding factor if the show lives or dies.  The boxes and selected people, don't give the accurate amount of viewers of shows.  Shows, should be based on the amount of letters, clicks per view of their sites, and emails wanting more of this show.

Gilbert Gottfried: Fired for Twittering about Japan

Source

Aflac, has fired the veteran comedian, for his Tweets, that according to Aflac's Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Michael Zuna, that his comments were indeed rash and uncalled for, and do not express the views of the company.  Thus, he has fired from being the voice of the Aflac Duck, that many of us have seen for a decade in commercials and Youtube reruns.  Gilbert, has been known to be an annoying rat faced, squinty eyed, and flamboyant comedian, but nothing can be further from the truth.  All of his shenanigans, are just his part of being humorous, and in many cases, he is.  Perhaps, in this case, his comments reached so many people with formal complaints in Gottfried's part.  He may not have been wise to poke fun of Japan's current dilemmas, but has already issued a formal apology to the masses.
Aflac, is currently looking for a voice actor to replace Gottfried's as we speak.

New Thor poster is out

............and it looks pretty damn good if you ask me.  At first, I was skeptical about Liam Hemsworth's look for the movie.....then, after months and months of training, and workouts, the once, thin Chris, beefed out with at least 25-30 pounds of additional muscle to portray the Asgardian Norse God, Thor.  This may make the name, Chris Hemsworth, a household name, such as Tobey Maguire, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Sam Worthington.  All it takes, is just one movie; one role to make it big.  As well as a string of movie box office hits.

Jewish groups pissed about Miral

Source

Boo hoo, is all I can say.  Many Jewish groups and organizations, are outraged about the movie's Pro Palestinian message, and that Israel is seen as the villains.  They're the ones to talk, since the state of Israel, is promoting apartheid in their own country against the Palestinians.  In a sense, just like Hitler did, in Germany, circa 1938, with Kristallnacht.  In which many Jewish shops, synagogues, and other businesses, were banned, defaced, vandalized, and ransacked.  The same is happening with the Palestinians, whose only means of defense, are terrorist tactics, to a heavily armed and US backed Israeli military.  Does this look familiar with 1940 Germany?  Of course it does.  Ashkenazic Jews always claim that there were 6 million killed, and that they're the European Jews, last time I checked, so were the Sephardic Jews of Spain and Portugal, whose numbers and mentions were masked by anti German propaganda, and lies about the death toll of 6 million.  The last Jewish discrimination and deportation of Spanish Jews......1492, and under Franco's regime, between 1939-1975, hardly a peep was heard, since Anti Semitism, wasn't the choice of rule of Franco, and one of Hitler's closest allies in Europe.

Something here, is being withheld.....it's called the TRUTH.  Perhaps this film, will shed some light into the deal, perhaps a little dose of reality will hit home.  I may not care for many people, and that is truthful in me, but the thing that I do wish upon anyone, is peace and social truth and equality for all.  I will not and get into a social debate and debacle, since I't no speech writer, nor a political person......that job I leave to Michael Irving, Dr. David Duke, Norman Finklestein, Pat Buchanan, and the late great Léon DeGrelle, whose namesake I adopted, due to the respect I have for that political mastermind and field commander.  Read up on these 5 men, and they will shed some light into reality.  Not just some light, I'm talking 10 suns of light.

Selena Gomez and death threats

Over the past couple of months, then Selena's and Justin Bieber's romance came to light.....there was a sudden hatred and negative outlook on the young 18 year old actress/singer's persona.  A flood of hate mail and death threats, by Bieber's female fans.  Is Sel and Justin's relationship, such a problem, to hundreds of prepubescent girl's lives? and are their fantasy world, of Justin as their knight in shining armor, all of a sudden have become a distorted and obsessive fantasy or killing the maiden that was swept off her feet, such a problem?

The answer is really basic and simple.  First off, parent's must get off their asses, and actually be parent's for once, and get involved in this distorted view of reality.  JB, will never meet 99.9999% of these obsessive crazy little bitches ever, much less, get to know them.  Hard facts and reality is little girls...........GET OVER IT!!!  It is this kind of views, and action, that have degraded today's society to the violent and undisciplined hell hole that has been carved out already.  With each passing generation and passing year, this so called society, is nothing more than a diluted version of the previous generations that have forged and paved our way for the future.  Paren'ts of today, don't get involved enough in their kids lives, and literally, their kids have nothing morally positive about them, and are raised by todays violent video games.  The faltering parenting, and the lazy parent's of today, don't give their kids the proper discipline of what's right and wrong, and lower their so called raising kids, to the drugs that are given to them to keep them quiet or to keep them from going crazy.  When I was raised, it was called putting a belt to your ass method, and it worked.  Kids of yesteryear, and my generation, were better behaved, and didn't have as many problem children as today.

Second.....parent's, monitor your kids activities.  Get off your asses again, and do something about your children's fantasies, before they act upon them, as if it were a video game, and end up doing something so stupid, that you and them, will regret for the rest of your lives, and end up ruining it in the process.  The threatening of another celeb, is not only stupid, but will wind you, your kids, and others' in the nice interrogation room at the local police, or worse, the FBI's offices, answering to long and tiresome routine of questions, on why the threats.  Anyone chimps at them, and it will end you up in hard times, for your lack of caring and parenting skills.

Third, and most important.........it's Sel's and JB's life.  Who cares.  It's not like they support you, me or your kids.  They're 2 celebs, that fell in love, or deep caring with one another.  And that's the bottom line.  They couldn't give two shits about you or your kids, without ever knowing them.  So once again parents.........be a parent, and don't give the same lame dick excuse that "I'm too tired"......unless you've been prior military, a fireman, doctor/nurse or police personnel, you don't know what tired is.  And I've met, all of the above parents with those jobs, and still have time to feed, disciplines, and tuck in their kids.  Check your kids, and their browsing history, before it lands you in the slammer with rapists, criminals, and psychos.

And as far as I'm concerned, I hope that she does, prosecute any little shit that makes a stupid death threat, just to teach them a little lesson about reality and the difference between right and wrong.

Japan was hit with an 8.9 earthquake

As we all know, the nation of Japan was hit not only with a massive earthquake to tear up anything in sight, but add to it, a 23 foot tsunami that swept the country....and to boot, more than 50 aftershocks that reached up to a 6.0 magnitude.  Think of it as Hiroshima/Nagasaki lite.  I know many Japanese, and they're a strong, and intelligent people. Hard working, and will not start rioting, nor sitting idle, nor start a mass looting, while there is work to be done.  These aren't the people that will sit around playing cards or dominoes and expect others to do the work for them.  The Japanese, are a people, that will show forth solidarity, once again, in a time of great strife and chaos.  My prayers are for them and hoping them all the best.  To add more bad news, there are approximately 500 dead, over 500 missing and nearly 800 injured.  Many of the areas that the tsunami hit, were evacuated, but still, it was on such a short notice.
This earthquake was so bad, that some of the tsunami waves hit Hawaii, but minor damage was called in.  An alert has been called for the areas from Alaska, to coastal countries of South America, basically, the entire right half of the infamous "Ring of Fire"

V Will have a huge surprise Tuesday night.

The series "V", will have a massive and huge surprise for all the fans...........MARC SINGER returns!!!!!  Yes, that Marc Singer, who played Mike Donovan from the original series almost 29 years ago.  It seems like only yesterday, that I was a little boy, watching the TV series, and the TV movies, that I enjoyed so much, back in a time, when television, was much better, more fun, and definitely more original than today's pieces of shit based reality shows, or then sissy shows that many people still love.  Now, the unfortunate thing.....V is in the season finale tonight.  Yup, 10 episodes.  But according to the Nielsen Ratings, this show has lost some ground, and last weeks episode, had less than 5 million viewers.  But what the ratings fail in, is that only a selected base is chosen to have such a box attached to their TV's, meaning, that only a small handful of people, have true control of what goes on television and what gets renewed, without really giving the correct people that enjoy and actually watch sci fi series, and not some assholes that purely watch girly shows, sitcoms, or drama.  not everyone will agree with what one or the other say.  And that's a fact.  If network execs, actually knew the real ratings of shows, they'd crap themselves at the amount of money they are really losing.

A prime example, would be AMC's "The Walking Dead".  The finale of the show, had 6.4 million viewers, and even in its debut, it broke records, and named, the most viewed show in basic cable history.  More than likely, the real number maybe closer to 9 million, because it was a well made show, and again like V, only showed a few episodes.  I believe V will have a very high rating, since another iconic element of the original V series, will make his triumphant return to what first made Marc Singer, famous, the other was "The Beast Master"

San Diego Comic Con 2007..........I had the pleasure to speak with Marc, and let's say, he's in excellent condition and very strong; his hand shake nearly crushed my hand.  Though I only asked about a possible return of V, his only reply was, that he was working out the details and specs, and nothing was set in stone as of yet.  But another fan asked, if he was going to be the only one returning, or that the others like Jane Badler, Michael Ironside, or the infamous Robert Englund maybe contracted.........his lips were sealed, and again mentioned, that just wait for the surprise.  3 and a half years later......I am surprised.

Lohan's dilemma

Story by:  Léon DeGrelle

Source

According to People, and a few other resources, LiLo considers this latest caper, as ridiculous.  The latest, came a few weeks ago, from the theft of a necklace, that the Kamofie & Co., value at $2,500 dollars.  Despite the allegations, the LiLo team, challenged the actual price of the necklace in question to under $1,000.  Despite the actual price what it cost to the jeweler's, the store is out the retail price. The argument lies, on trying to get LiLo off, if the value face is under $950 dollars.  If so, La Lohan walks, with another slap to the face on justice.  It's not so much the price, but the action of the matter.  This, isn't the first time, that Lohan has had run ins with retailer's, claiming that Lindsay has stolen something from their stores.  But hopefully, La County's DA, will make the decision in the outcome of this.  Since it will be up to the DA, to decide the value of the necklace, amidst other pro jeweler's face value of the necklace, that were called in.

Personally, I hope the bitch spends some time behind bars, then perhaps, Big Bertha and the other Bull D****, will set her and scare her straight.  If she goes to the big house, perhaps a plunger up her ass will straighten her a bit when she gets out.  Should she walk, this is another travesty in the unequal justice system.......where criminal walks, and the victims all have nothing to say about it.  But when someone actually does stand up for justice's sake, then this person/hero, becomes a criminal, and have the entire book, thrown at his/her face, despite being right.  This is another travesty to justice.

More starpower for Nolan's new Batman sequel

Story by: Léon DeGrelle

Source

Anne Hathaway has been reported to play Selina Kyle, also better known as, CATWOMAN.  Tom Hardy, will be Bane, in the upcoming film, and final of the Nolan series, The Dark Knight Rises.  Hathaway, is by no means the average height for a woman, she stands at nearly 5'9" tall and curves in the right spots, she adds a little bit of estrogen, to this already filled sausage fest of flicks.
Here's a little footnote of Anne's cancelled role to play another villain......she was chosen to play "The Vultress", along with Ed Harris (The Vulture), had the Spiderman 4 had not been cancelled, and later rebooted with, quite possibly, a lesser quality idea pitch.

True Grit falls, Green Hornet flies really high

Story by:  Léon DeGrelle

Weekly box office report.  The Green hornet flies, sky high with an impressive opening weekend of $40 million.  Believe me, I though this was going to be the movies entire make in the run.....guess I was wrong.  The Dilemma, debuts with half of the Green Hornet, at $20.5 million.  Last weeks winner drops to 3rd with $11 million.  British movie, Kings Speech in 4th $9.19 million, and finishing the top 5, is The Black Swan with $8.34 million.  As the Oscars are nearing, expect a sudden spike and surge in demand for Oscar nominated films, such True Grit and Black Saw, to raise interest in the public's eye.  That's basically the last round, before closing time at a bar.  Get that last little taste to experience the movie theater magic.

Chris Evans as Captain America

Story by:  Léon DeGrelle

Now this, I'm impressed with.  Not only is Chris a familiar face to comic books heroes (Human Torch), but he does look the part, albeit, the stronger jawline, but he more than definitely will do.  I was downright nasty on my last critique of Spiderman, but not here.  Evans, is a really damn good choice.  With Hugo Weaving as the infamous Red Skull, this will-without a shadow of a doubt-be a kickass movie when it hit theaters July 22, 2011.

First pic of Andrew Garfield as Spiderman

Story by:  Léon Degrelle

Let's, I'm not impressed.  Tobey Maguire still had more miles to go, and at least, he got buffed up a bit, in order to portray Spiderman.  So, this reboot is supposed to take place in high school???  I don't think so.  Despite makeup, SFX and other visual magic, I'd say college, more than high school, unless they hired a Ralph Macchio look alike.  Whoever decided on the "Ultimate" style stroy writing to adjust to the times, piss poor and shit jobs, the writers are producing.  A hero, is supposed to ooze confidence, strength, and perseverance, not being a whinny, self doubting wimp, who only limits their abilities with self doubt.  Only time will tell.  Sometimes, as the sayong goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words" can be right in most instances.....in my case, this is still to early to tell, but from what I see, I'm not impressed.  Personally, 2 actors that were up for grabs, looked the part, Logan Huffman (Percy Jackson) and Frank Dillane (Young Voldemort:  Half Blood Prince)

Pope John Paul II, closer to sainthood

Story by:  Léon DeGrelle

Source

This will be made by Pope Benedict XVI, on May 1st 2011, after a French nun had her Parkinson's Disease cured, in the name of Pope John Paul II,  His body is to be moved to St. Peter's Cathedral upon his beatification.  One more miracle is needed, for JP's sainthood.  In the Italian words "Santo Subito" or Saint Now, will finally come true.  I may not be Catholic, but it couldn't happen to such a wonderful and humble man.

C. Thomas Howell, to appear in Spiderman reboot

Story by:  Sancho

Source

Howell has been away from the mainstream big budget Hollywood scene for years.....but will make his return to a big budget production in the Spiderman reboot movie.  From what the sources gathered, he will portray a character named Ray.  There is some speculation that the character will be none other than Ray Cooper, his current girlfriend's dead father.  So as of now, it's only speculation as to his character, no solid details.

Sir Ian McKellan and Andy Serkis, are in.......

Story by:  Léon DeGrelle

Source

To reprise their most infamous roles form the last decade, as Gandalf and Gollum, respectively.  This happened just yesterday, following the role reprisals for both Elijah Wood and Cate Blanchett.  Wood signed just lat week.  Christopher Lee and Orlando Bloom, are still in talks about their famous roles as Saruman and Legolas.............more than likely, they will sign, or at least one of them will.  The only role that I find as irreplaceable......is Saruman, as Mr. Lee, is already an octogenarian.  He has been in films, for a far longer time, than the rest of the co-stars, his death, will be felt by all that he's touched, both in person, and in films.  He's a living breathing gem in the cinema.  He is still strong, and still maintains his strong, virile booming voice as ever.

Ian Holm, is being asked to reprise his role as the older Bilbo in the film.

Story by:  Sancho

Source

The 66 year old actor says he has a bill of clean health.  Since his illness, he's lost 32 pounds, but has gained about 12 back.  He'll be back on his feet in no time.  Good luck and Gospeed in your recovery Mr. Douglas.  Catch Douglas' interview in the "Today Show" with Matt Lauer tomorrow morning.

True Grit finally at #1, Fockers fall 1 spot

Story by:  Léon DeGrelle

True Grit finally becomes #1 with $15 million, taking the spot from 2 week winner Little Fockers, which made $13.7 million to take the number 2 spot this week.  Nic Cage and Ron Pearlman debut at #3 with $10.7 million in Season of the Witch.  Tron: Legacy falls only 1 spot to number 4 with $9.8 million.  And to end with the top 5, Black Swan, moves up from near obscurity and makes $8.3 million, to the 5th position coming up from 9th last week.
Another footnote for this weeks top 5 films.  True Grit becomes the first Western movie to make over $100 million dollars in over a decade.  Congratulations to the Coen Bros., Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin, for this great feat.
