According to Stallone, he says it's pretty much done with, after 28 years of the characters birth in the movies. He figures that it's about time to hang up the boots for Rambo. Though there have been many rumors circling the media areas that there will be another movie of the Special Forces hero. Filming "The Expendables" made Sly think long and hard about what road to take, he's already reached a cross-point and passed it, on the inevitability of finally retiring a character, one which, has made him a household name for over 30 years, and being one of few remaining action stars, to last this long. Rocky, being his real bread and butter of his fame.
Mr. Stallone is not done completely though....he will add a special scene in "Rambo" (2008), in which 12 minutes are to be added to the movie, in which he soliloquizes to Julie Benz's character, about his life and that it has been a total sham, something more, than just the familiar yell, grunts, and screams that are so synonymous with Sly's work. Only time will tell of what will happen. Personally, he's going to surprise us in the end. Stallone's already in his 60's, but there aren't many men his age, that look as good as he does.
